A new Community Y has recently opened, thanks to the generous gift of a former Marshalltown resident. Your visit to Marshalltown MUST include a walk through of this amazing facility. Click For Larger Image

Click For Larger Image Crosby and Apgar (Riverview) pools have been replaced by this incredible Aquatic Center. It is located along Linn Creek just west of our new Y. It is fun for all ages.

We now have bike, walk, jog trail that runs from the east side of Riverview Park, eastward along the river, then westward along Linn Creek, past the new Y, Aquatic Center, and Little League Park, to Morris Park (west of 12th Street). There is a plan in place to extend this trail to the Grimes Farm Conservation Center, and eventually on to Melbourne along our new 4 lane Highway 330. So, if you are driving to M'Town, bring your bike!!! Click For Larger Image

Classmate Martha Grimes' family has given our community the Grimes Farm Conservation Center. It is located west of town off Highland Acres Road between Lincolnway and old Highway 30. It is a tremendous community asset. A visit to this Center should also be on your "to do" list in July!
