I just got home yesterday and have been cleaning out my emails and there were lots of them leading up to the BBQ/Campout weekend.  There was so much hype it was rumored it may have been a little over-kill on our excitement, but let me tell you, it was BETTER than what we anticipated!  I felt a sadness when I got home that the weekend was over.

I know I've thanked Jim, Kay, Steve, Lisa, and Vic several times for putting this together, but I just can't say enough about how well the weekend went and how much fun we had.  I hope everyone had as much fun as I did!  I'm REALLY glad no one had a camera handy when I was evicted from my house on wheels on Sunday!  I am also thankful no one had a video camera because I don't think Diana and I want to be on You-Tube doing "Lounge Chair Ballet".

To all of you who made an appearance over the weekend and on Monday, it was so great to see you and I can't wait for the next get-together.  For anyone that didn't make it this time, please think about the next adventure!  We have talked about getting together sometime next year for a Vegas trip.  I do have a cruise planned in March (that I didn't know about until 2 days ago) with my relatives but I'm not sure of the dates yet.  As soon as we send in our deposits, I will let Patti and Vic know the only dates I am not open to.

I too have been going to thank everyone involved with the BBQ!  And I would like to do that now!  I had a great time and it was great to see everyone.  This was just like a Reunion with the turnout and the overall fun had by all.  I would like to give a special thanks to Pam Knight for bringing her homemade pies--Yum-m-m.

I am looking forward to our next get-together and making more memories and having a great time.

Pam's wonderful fruit pies were great, but even better on Saturday with soft serve ice cream from the camp store!
