Crock Pot Swiss steak Posted Friday, October 15, 2010 10:25 AM Crock Pot Swiss steakDredge each piece of steak with flour. Fry in olive oil (or your choice) until crisp. Layer in crock pot in this order. Steak - sliced onions - cream of chicken soup (part of a can) Repeat layers Cook on low all day or high for half a day. Really yummy and easy. judy zwemke |

Was this menu item served at the BUS DEPOT?--one of my favorite Marshalltown eateries. If I remember correctly, the swiss steak was soaked in gravy and served with mashed potatoes. I am not much of a cook, but I try to eat very well. What is dredging meat? Take great care of yourself and have a wonderful day, Tom '64 |
