Have known Jeannie since High school but we only reconnected at the barbecues out at the campground and our Huckleberry lunch's. She was a deep and caring person though her life was not always easy. Rest in peace Jeanie you deserve it. You will be missed.
I met Jean in middle school I think and kept in touch thru High school at school! I didn't have much money to do out side of school things. I would run into her at several places when I was in Marshalltown we would talk and catch up with our life's. She was a kind caring person who had a hard knock life, but made the best of it. She is at peace now, and I am sure we be will be bumping into each other soon to catch up. Prayers of comfort to her family, and yes she will be missed.
She was my close friend in high school.A couple years ago we met for lunch a couple times. We found we still had a lot in common. I will miss her.Does anyone know what happened?
I have known Jean since we were in elementery school @ Glick. So sorry to hear of her passing. Please know, that she and her family will be in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
Jeanie & I lived on Madison St. & were friends at 5 year's old. We started kindergarten together. I can remember in 3rd grade my little brother who was in kindergarten found a dime & I told him he couldn't take money to school & talked him into giving it to me. Jeanie & I stopped at the store across from Glick School, bought 2 popsicles & put them in our locker to save for recess! I don't think I need to tell you what was left of those popsicles! Or how we spent our recess cleaning up our mess! Those were the good old days! It was a great neighborhood. We lived close to Thompson's grocery store & had lots of great neighborhood summer parties! Jeanie & I go way back & she will truly be missed.
