Marion was a gentle soul. Now he is in the arms of a gentle God. May God Bless him.

Sorry to hear of Marion's short illness and passing.  He was always an attendee at class gatherings and I enjoyed visiting with him.  RIP!

I is so hard for me to except the fact that Marion is home with the Lord! We will all have to face that journey all to soon. Just to know he no longer is in the pain and stress of this world is of some comfort. I will remember Marions quiet earthly soul, his kind mannor, and some what dry humor. To know someone is to walk in a pair their old shoes, and to remember their soul when they are gone even if it is just a flash in our busy day. What a friend and class mate. Leo Draegert

Ray and I would usually run in to Marion at one of our favorite restaurants when we visited Mtown.  We will miss chatting with him and catching up on Mtown and the IOWA HAWKEYES!  RIP!

Like many of you, I have known Marion for most of my life-Aaron Palmer, Central Junior High and Marshalltown High School. Marion had a kind, gentle and unassuming disposition.  As a shy and reserved individual, he preferred to listen rather than ramble. He was a lifelong Marshalltownian, a loyal Bobcat and friend.  May he rest in eternal peace...
