I am so sorry to hear about Nan.  We had such a good visit at the reunion.  Her and I went to the same Church all through Jr. High and Sr High.  We did many fun things together and I spent the night at her house many times.  I am totally shocked to hear this. So sorry for her family and her brother Harmon.

Peace be with you Nan Hosch Nelson Family.  I too talked to Nan at our reunion.  We were neighbors { her in the 1800 block of Summit St. ( near Robert Hanson School ) & I on 21st Street.}  I played pick-up basketball with Harmon,  Jim Button,  Larry & Gary Boggs, and  Don Anderson.  Sorry for your loss.

I loved talking to Nan at the 50th class reunion. She had the smile, the heart and the fight that I remembered from third grade. We're blessed to have known her.

I grew up with Nan, grade school, on up to graduation from MHS... also grew up together in church (1st Baptist), spending much time together in Youth Group, etc. I remember quite a few fun, even hair-raising times wt Nan & her friends. Her passing is somewhat of a shock, since we communicated last month, in which she sounded pretty up & positive. Good to know she is not dealing wt health issues any more... No pain... No tears. Jim, if you are able to read these comments, our hearts go out to you... know that you, the children & family are in your prayers!  Terry & Patricia Lampel

At the 50th, Nan and I shared stories ranging from school to her health challenges.  She was facing those challenges with enviable aplomb, good humor, and appreciation of her blessings. R.I.P.

At the 50th Nan and I talked about our time at Central being in Mrs Neve's homeroom. I sat behind her for the entire 3 years. We joked about the seating in our classes always being Hosh,Howard and Denny Hubbard and it never changed. She shared her autograph book from junior high what memories. Rest in peace NAN.

It is with deep regret to Hear of the loss of Nan! I pray comfort to her family. As our class gains in age we will loose many more some sooner some later! Our loss is Gods gain. To remember those who go before us is the key. As long as we remember they are never really gone from us. Just from our sight. Nan was a blessing to so many and will be remembered.

Was saddened to hear of Nan's passing. Was glad we got to visit briefly at the reunion. We grew up together and were confirmed and baptized at Baptist Temple.we had a fun time at Easter Sunrise Service and breakfast. To a bunch of preteens that was like getting up in the middle of the night. Rest easy, Nan. May God give comfort and peace to your family and friends.

I was saddened to hear of Nan's having lost the fight, but happy that she gained the Kingdom! I look forward to seeing her there!! Many know that Nan was my first crush.....But I so aggravated her in 9th grade and in 10th that she finally stabbed me with a sharpened pencil during Latin class. After that she was my first date ever and gave me a going away party when I left for Florida. She is missed....
