I ran into Ann a while back & we had a nice long visit. I have always thought she had a fun personality & enjoyed a friendship with her in school & for years when her husband George worked at Fishers. We talked about getting together that day but never did. I was very shocked to hear of her passing. She will be missed.
Ann and I met in HS and hit it off. There weren't too many classmates who were "horse crazy" . Throughout the years we connected at horse shows, Iowa Horse Fair and the Iowa State Fair. She was always the same friendly person I knew from MHS. Ann I hope you have horses to ride that never buck and grass that grows stirrup high. RIP my friend.
As I sit here thinking about how long I have Known Ann! I can't recall just when we met. I know it was a long time ago may have been in grade school. She was a true cowgirl and love the horse side better than the cow side. I can remember when she and George were married, but kind of lost track of her after that. It is sad to know that when we take that final trip home that we who are left can only just remember by looking back in our mind of those who have gone. My heart felt prayers go out to Ann"s family who are left here.with out her.
